Here's where potekglass began over 17 years ago. The ability to work glass on a small scale has always given a special freedom to expresssion in both color and design. Some beads are classics. Others are unique to that firing and speak of the originality in the buyer. Either option is a testament to an eye for quality and design.
As we continue to explore and push the envelope of glass working, Malcom works both in the kiln and on a torch. He creates fresh and innovative color combinations, sometimes fusing and cutting the glass multiple times to achieve the palette he wants. On the torch, he creates custom canes and murrini to use, as well as beautiful finished beads.
Kara continues to create individual, intimate works of art through her painted pendants. She pulls a fleeting expression from the human experience and seals that moment within the glass. Each piece holds a story of its own.
